Any chance that ACCN or ESPN might pick up this game? If not, it will be my third game in a row without TV
That's what bars are for!You don't have to sit around a hotel room all day thinking about the game.
Yeah, I'll need to get creative to watch this one too looks like.Any chance that ACCN or ESPN might pick up this game? If not, it will be my third game in a row without TV
In terms of prestige, the noon RSN slot is as bad as it gets. Really a slap in the face to UL and Syracuse.
Someone posted a link to YES network last week. The game would buffer if I sent the signal to my tv so just watched on my phone… not ideal but better than nothing.Yeah, I'll need to get creative to watch this one too looks like.
According to Matt Sarz, the agreement between the ACC and RSNs (mostly Bally now) expires in 2026-27.Someone posted a link to YES network last week. The game would buffer if I sent the signal to my tv so just watched on my phone… not ideal but better than nothing.
I make sure I have SNY for the Mets, wish they would partner with ACC instead of YES…
Also Gary Cohen was dissing Rutgers football on a Mets broadcast last month. Something about “since when is Rutgers football considered NY sports” lol
UL attendance was down last home game to 65%. They will get a decent crowd for a Clemson night game.. But losing that will be 4 out of 5 and I would expect a noon game to go down again in who shows up..
You mean you don't have to tailgate excessively all afternoon for a night game and have little memory of what happened.I think noon on the road is always best. Crowd might take a few minutes to wake up, you don't have to sit around a hotel room all day thinking about the game.
maybe.. but they only sell 60-65% of the tickets in any game this year.. is that really gonna bump up to see 4-5 UL vs 5-4 SU just to go sit and watch a few min of jackson? It wouldnt bump up an SU crowd if Freeney was getting retired. Most wouldnt even know. They're retiring Lamar's #. It'll be a big crowd. But a Nooner is definitely preferable in regards to fan hostility.

I’m guessing The Pinstripe Bowl is tied to the contract as wellAccording to Matt Sarz, the agreement between the ACC and RSNs (mostly Bally now) expires in 2026-27.
Clarification on ACC RSNs
This blog is about ACC Football - past glory, what went wrong, and how to fix it and get back to the glory days again.accfootballrx.blogspot.com
My guess is that the agreement that YES signed with the ACC runs until the end of the contract. I would not expect SNY to step in any time soon.
I don't think retiring Lamar Jackson's number carries much weight with television since halftimes aren't shown on TV. They probably show a quick 30 sec blip as they come back to the announcers right before the second half.Retiring the number of an all-time ACC player while playing the best RB in the league with bowl implications OR
The worst Clemson team in 5 years clinch bowl eligibility vs an all time worst non-conf team that is truly an eye sore

Better than any part of UCONN on the fieldI don't think retiring Lamar Jackson's number carries much weight with television since halftimes aren't shown on TV. They probably show a quick 30 sec blip as they come back to the announcers right before the second half.
