Honestly I have thought that the SEC would be a great option for Louisville and vice-versa. They have a natural rival in Kentucky, the football program is solid while the basketball program could really help the SEC (usually Kentucky and perhaps one other team that has a run, such as Florida a few years ago, Arkansas in the 90s and LSU before that). Plus geographically it helps to balance the addition of Texas A&M.
