Lowest Scoring Game Ever

Maybe someone else noticed this, but I have not seen it. Saturday's game is tied for the lowest combined score (93) for an SU game ever (JB era). Alcorn State (12/12) and Colgate (12/05) are the other two.

A winning game with just 49 points has also only happened once before over the same period. The other was Pitt (2/04). We have never won with less than 49 points.

The kicker about that other game (the 49 point win vs Pitt) was that it was in OT! Also all our players had functioning eyes following that game, which should never be assumed vs Pitt. Also it was their first loss ever at the Pete.

The funny thing is you could probably take exclusively take half court shots every possession for 45 minutes and score more than 49.
