LSU AD Alleva upset - bias or tradition?

LSU has got the shaft from the SEC for years and that ain't right on with them. I read somewhere that LSU might make the jump to the ACC...where is that insider that made the Oklahoma to Big 10 call, I'm sure he knows.

Maybe it's time for LSU to speed up their offense, that ought to frost some Saban.

LSU has every right to be pissed. They have been the 2nd best team in that league for some time now, and a top 5 team nationally, and they are treated like they are Kentucky football.

Never imagined such an ugly dude could make so much sense... And yeah, night games...

My sources are telling me LSU to the ACC is imminent. Unless things change of course.

There's supposedly a press conference being held this Tuesday at 4:00. Unless, like you said, things change of course.

Is your source as legit as the Dude's?

Since 2000 LSU has played Florida and Georgia 19 times and Alabama has played them eight times. That is a competitive disadvantage. There are a lot of other examples.

LSU gets Florida, Auburn gets Georgia and Alabama gets Tennessee. Now Tennessee should improve, but the HS FB in Georgia and Florida will make them stronger. This is little old secret behind Bama's recent dominance their SEC schedules have been easier than LSU.

LSU is right on the money. The SEC and ACC should do the following as long as they keep divisions have any teams from other divisions that want to keep their protected rival games continue playing annually, but teams that don't want annual protected games rotate those games with teams from the other division.

Thus these games would be saved.
SEC
Tennessee-Alabama
Georgia-Auburn
Missouri-Arkansas
ACC
Wake Forest-Duke
NC State-North Carolina
Florida State-Miami
Clemson-Georgia Tech
then the rest would be scrapped and you would get more cross-divisional matchups.

The SEC should set their schedule to play against the ACC every year, 14 against 14, and make the games end of season rankings against each other. Alternate so one year you host, next year you travel, would be better then Florida- Florida St, Georgia-Georgia Tech, South Carolina- Clemson, because the best teams would play each other, on down the list. Then Alabama would have to play a nationally ranked opponent out of conference, every year.

Much easier to do that in hoops...college football has much more tradition and fewer games. I don't see Florida- Florida St, Georgia-Georgia Tech, South Carolina- Clemson, etc...giving up those annual games.
