I interpret that as "I have my act together so I'm moving on." But him and Cheffy are the only Cuse guys technically in the portal so far. Obviously those who already said they are entering will probably pop up in the coming days/weeks.

I don't think any of us know what type of loss this is. HIs tape looked better than what we saw but let's be fair it isn't easy getting a chance with our stacked backcourt of Nait George, JJ, Kiyan, Kingz and Zephyr.

I think that if GMAC really wanted Fennell and could show him where he would fit in, he’d still be with us. We’ve got Kiyan, MMM, Doty and Moesch supposedly coming, and we are looking for a guard in the portal.

It is so easy to portal and find an easier path to playing time that most kids today are not willing to stay and fight.

Unfortunately for the vast majority of players who transfer out of here, that is not the case. But Fennell does have the skill set to be a solid contributor somewhere if he gets stronger. He needs to pick the right program.

The few minutes he played early on in the season, there was nothing good or “special” that stood out. We have to stop elevating guys to levels we wish upon them. But, we will in a year or two see if his leaving is truly a loss.

This is a kid who has a strong chance of blossoming. Damn.
