He was completely mismanaged. And I give him credit. He was an incredible teammate and bench supporter. He def got a raw deal

I wonder if Todd Golden comes back around...Rooting for Luke, if you watched him in the U19 world cup, you knew he had something to provide this team. On that team he was also getting a raw deal and when he finally saw the court he looked like a great piece to winning basketball.

I really hoped he would come back. Just had meniscus surgery within the last two weeks.

I wondered if there was an injury involved. During the latter part of the season, there were a couple of games when Red cleared the bench except for Luke. He didn’t seem to be pouting or otherwise unhappy about it.

In these days of NIL and the portal, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to pay a player to sit on the bench and take a couple of years to develop. Especially at a program that’s trying to turn itself around. There are too many other shiny objects in the portal.

I assume that he’ll drop down a level and then maybe try to develop and work his way back up. Good luck to him.

Would have liked to see how Australian Joe Dirt (credit: Steveholt) would have performed if given some decent minutes. Absent any empirical data, it's hard to say if this is a loss or not.
