Lunardi's first Bracketology for next year

I think Colorado is better than a 7 seed, IMHO.

Then again every time they are supposed to be decent (top 25) they $!@# the bed.

Only 6 ACC teams, including all three of the new teams. If you include Louisville, that would be the four newcomers and only Duke, North Carolina and Virginia. How come anyone in the ACC is complaining about the new teams? That is a boatload of money that the new schools are sharing with their undeserving asses.

I believe Cuse will be a 2 or 3 seed next year. However, I do truly believe we will beat Duke and finish atop or sharing a title of the ACC.

I know the ACC is fast pace, less physicality. But if the Orange can bring some physicality without the Carolina refs lighting up the whistles to much, I think they can really give Duke and UNC teams/fans a shock.

After all, our zone is (if I'm correct) longer next year.

6'2 Ennis replacing 6'6 MCW
6'7 Gbinije replacing 6'4 Brandon Triche
6'8 CJ Fair returning
6'9 Grant (should be 6'9 by next year) replacing 6'8 Southerland
6'9 Coleman (lean and mean returning from the summer) or 6'10 Keita take your pick

Edit: I mention Duke because Lunardi has them as a 1 seed.

Grant will easily be 7'9" next year with a 15 foot wingspan.

Saw that coming.

However he is projected to finish at 6'9. There's been rumors of him growing to 6'10, we've all heard them, but I don't know how true those are.

I think we've all seen the troynunes article.

There is also going to be crazy length and depth on the bench, with Roberson, BJ, Patterson and Cooney.

We aren't officially ACC till July 1st, but if C.J. Fair returns we will be a top 4 seed again next year most likely so the 2 seed is realistic, but as someone has mentioned Colorado is a top 15 team next year they have Dinwiddy returning and that team will be solid and above a 7 seed. Also, I would rather not be on the same half of the bracket as Kentucky if possible with all that talent they will have next year. Also, Ohio State as a 2 seed with Deshawn Thomas isn't likely IMO.

He finished lunch at 6'9" you mean.

Okay, I'm done now.

Reminding me already of the zone jokes from the IU fans...come on. These growth predictions are backed up by SU physicians.

Read my other comments.

Also, I'm not a UNC fan. I go to UB, the fan section here have dubbed themselves "True Blue".
Pardon my ignorance then good luck with Bobby Hurley.

I'm going into this upcoming season with zero expectations. If Gbinije and Ennis live up to the hype while Cooney, Grant, and Coleman all make leaps forward, we should be a very good team, but the opposite could happen and we could miss the tournament completely (this is all counting on CJ Fair to be on the team, which I'm pretty sure of, but we'll see soon).

I get it all the time, you're the first who guessed UNC though. Usually people assume I'm a Duke, G Town or UK fan..bleh.

Also thank you, I'm very excited to see what he can do with this talented athletic Bulls team. MCrea is definitely one of the most talented players in the nation and will no doubt be in the running for MAC POY

This is crazy! There's no way we aren't a 1 seed. Noone has a tougher SOS, more quality wins, or a better road record at this point in the season. We're getting screwed!
Yeah, but talk about parity.
