Sooooooo yeah I didn't really have lunch with Coyle. But he did sit at the table next to our's today at Pascale's. I recognized his wife from pictures. Is it his Bday today because she gave him a little present. He was there with 2 younger adults and a baby as well. I thought about saying something to him, and then thought better of it. He was clearly not operating in an official capacity and was having a family moment. I figured he should enjoy himself and not have to worry about putting on the show. Do I have a point to all of this? No, I just thought it was cool.

Lies. It's called PASCALE now..not Pascale's. ;)

Actually...isn't it Tavern 104 now? They may have changed it again.
I think Tavern 104 is different. The official name is Pascale Italian Bisto at Drumlins(you made me look it up lol)

Did you at least send over a bottle of wine?

None of that cheap crap either, go Super Tuscan. Tell him you're all in.

Yes there is a point you get Points for letting him have a good family day.

You should have taken a selfie with him in the background.

Amarones or Barolos for the win!

1997 Quintarelli Amarone Classico - probably the best bottle of wine I've been fortunate enough to consume.

Actually, I was lucky enough to snag three of them. They're all empty. I don't pine away for any exes, but I do miss my Quintarellis.

Good for you, man. Jealous! So freaking pricey all of them. I haven't had anything Quintarellis yet but will put them on my radar. I have a go to wine which is Zenato 'Ripassa.' It's a Valpolicella that they pass through the leftover sediment and pressed grapes of their Amarone barrels. Gives it some more oomph. It's about $30 and a gangster wine. I can't really afford to go higher than that for a regular go-to one.
