FWIW, I'm a "blue hair" -- just got my Medicare Advantage card the other day -- and some of us alter kockers actually like Macklemore, let alone know who he is without Googling. My favorite (living) MC, though, is another caucasian from anotha motha, Slim Shady. This currently is in heavy rotation on my iPod.

Very funny. I'm only 44 (yeah, only...) but my first thought was "cool - I'll have to show my son that." As a 10-year old, of course he's a huge fan.

You have to get pretty blue haired (of course I dye mine). I was right down by the stage in Atlanta. Almost 60 yrs. old here. Of course I was with my 27 year old son. When he sang "tonight is the night" I was sure it meant that we were going to win that night!! I still get final four goosebumps when I hear that song. And we did "fight til its over" with our almost comeback. I actually love his music.

Filled a pretty small part of the dome. They had like 75% of the dome blocked off. Great concert though, even if the sound gets pretty messed up inside the dome.

And he wears a local jersey to all of his concerts. He wore a Buffalo Sabres jersey when he was in Buffalo a few days ago. I think it's a way to keep memories of his performances. He gets a local jersey (he also wore a #44 football jersey for a few songs) and gets Macklemore put on the back for the name, and I would guess he hangs on to all of them as sort of a souvenir from each of his concerts.
