That's really all it comes down to. Some people need to step up and make plays. Dropped passes; blocked punts (i put that on Dixon); punt into end zone as result of poor kick and or kick coverage; missed fgs; dropped ints; too many poor angles on defense; etc., etc.
This is still an absolutely limited team in terms of talent. If they go out and play below their level, they are going to get blown out by some absolutely average teams. 6-6 still seems realistic though.
Too me, the highlight of the day was the Murphy field goal. A player had a specific assignment to perform, and executed it perfectly.
