Mark Whipple for OC/QB coach

Former Cleveland Browns QB coach, presently available.

Whipple is a Northeastern guy (born in NY) with a nice mix of college and NFL experience. Has put up big numbers and won a lot games in the college ranks, primarily as a HC/OC in the Northeast. Admittedly, I don't know much about his recruiting prowess but he runs a dome-friendly, dynamic offense.

He recently coached in the ACC as an OC for Miami so he knows the league. Coached/groomed Big Ben with the Steelers, worked with Brandon Weeden in Cleveland this season. Been a runner-up on a few recent HC openings so he's obviously respected.

Excellent resume, might even qualify as a "splash" hire. Might entice our offensive/QB commits to stay.

Not sure but lots of posters touted him, which is what enticed me to look him up. Think he'd be a nice fit.

They were 9-4 and 7-5 with him as OC. Better W-L numbers than Hackett produced his 2 years as OC. I'm just sayin'.

The giant mess as Miami OC was Patrick Nix. Whipple got things turned around. But Whipple's time in Miami was doomed because Shannon is not competent.

Rob Konrad also endorsed that assclown Matt Patricia during this search so I don't take his opinion seriously.
