People blame him for 'not showing respect' but honestly, most of it is over the line. He WILL meet with them personally this weekend and had HE been the one 'not shown the respect' by the University for whatever reason (ie. not winning enough games and being fired without warning), most people in this forum wouldn't give a damn about him because they'd say he didn't do his job. Well given that he never had an official extension, he fulfilled his job as a coach and now he's no longer the coach. Whine away but it's life and it doesn't take away from the fact that as a person, he was one of the nicest people I've ever met.
This board can't accept that they just want things THEIR way without considering the fact that coaches have their own lives, interests, and family to look after. I'm sure he'll apologize for not letting YOU be the first priority in his life because clearly, that's what you would do.
