First of all, a sample size of 2 years in the NFL is pretty darn insignificant.  To the poster who claimed he wasn't as good as Bilichick so therefore he stinks.  Bilichick went 6-10, 7-9, 7-9, 11-5, and 5-11 his years in Cleveland.  He went 5-11 his first year in New England.  Suddenly Tom Brady shows us and he's a genius.

Bill Walsh was 2-14 and 6-10 his first 2 years at San Fran.  Joe Montanta became Joe Montana and that was it.

Bill Parcells was 3-8 in his only year coaching collegiate football.  He took over a Giants team that was 9-7 and 4-5 (strike) the year before he got there.  You know what his record was in year 1?  He won 3 freaking games.

Now, is Doug going to be a Parcells or Bilichik, etc?  I have no idea, nor am I insinuating that.  I am intrigued to see what he can do with competent quarterback play.
