Marshall waxed a very good Iona team today

I know people were complaining over our performance vs. Marshall, but they went out today and beat a good Iona team by 19. (Iona had wins over Maryland and St. Joe's and their only loss was by 1 point to Purdue)

I think Marshall makes a run at the C-USA title this year, because Memphis doesn't look as good as advertised. The win over the Herd will be a quality W by year's end.

Of course it will. Plus, they beat Cinn at Cinn. And got out of there without getting the crap kicked out of them.

I was going to post the same thing earlier. Marshall is a very good team this year. In past seasons, that could have been a game we lost.

Really bad matchup for Iona ... I'm sure they played man(they usually d0),and from what we saw, Marshall should be zoned ... also Iona was coming from across the country where they beat Denver in Overtime ... andddddd Iona is not a good rebounding team whatsoever, Marshall more than doubled them on the glass

Marshall is a very good defensive team and we missed some bunnies against them to boot. Luckily for us we are a better defensive team and are bigger and faster at every position. I think after playing us anyone Marshall faced would feel like a relief.

As I said before the game ... Marshall is very good. Excellent rebounding as we found out. To beat Iona is a major plus ... Yes Iona is a very good team. After hearing about Memphis today (altho Murray St is still undefeated) I think they do take a run at the C-USA champioship. Good win for SU

That Denver game was five days ago. Not sure if they can use that as an excuse.

That might be the second most surprising score so far this season. Far and away the biggest shocker was Buffalo going to Dayton and winning by 29.
