Receiver got hung up on the block for too long. Pass looked to be the appropriate length if the receiver had released the block earlier.

Eh, I think he put too much air under it.

The receiver would’ve gotten blasted by the safety if he had a clean break and met the ball where Taj threw it.

We all love Dino but he’s either A) getting outcoached and/or B) out-athleted.

Probably a mix of both. He’s been here long enough and needs to recruit better.

You certainly can’t both be outcoached and out-talented. That’s what leads to a 21-7 first quarter.

I think Dino has been hinting at this all preseason.

The read option with DeVito is essentially worthless. He never keeps it so the defense crashes down every single time. I'd rather we run a more traditional passing offense with DeVito standing back and passing because he looks more comfortable when he doesn't have to make that read.

Our defense is not handling the run-pass option well at all. To be fair, Maryland is running it very well but we have also made it easy. Our secondary is not playing nearly physical enough at the line of scrimmage so their receivers are running free on these quick passes. Jackson isn't all that accurate of a QB so I'd like to try and force him to make a second read on a pass because he is getting rid of it quickly.

This offense looks like the first couple years of DB tough losses. Which means it looks like Mcfunkit got called in for help.

Maybe a talent gap moreso than lockelsey being a genius

Not a good sign when you are trying to throw with Taj Harris. Hes too skinny for that too was terrified of getting hit on the play.

IDK how this board went so over the top praising our D bc they shut out Liberty the D related posts in the last week were straight up embarrassing. Everyones a first rounder etc etc.


Still not over if we get some stops there are gonna be a lot of possessions in this game. Maybe that secondary can show up and get a turnover.

MD playing 2 QBs is a good sign dunno why they are making a change.
