They're attacking the flats and using horizontal stretches to perfection. Really exposing the lack of lateral speed of our defense. Edge defenders are getting lit up.

I WILL SAY THIS... You can clearly see the kid is going to be good... The mistakes we have seen are mostly from inexperience and the game being a little too fast for him... These mistakes are coachable. I am actually feeling pretty good overall with what I am seeing this game.. he has been accurate and throwing the ball well PERIOD and there is a lot to work with... we may lose... but it is not going to sour my feelings about him and his future

I think this is as inaccurate as the opposite saying he’s terrible and not the answer. Nobody knows. Fixing “the game is too fast for him” is not a guarantee. There are a lot of QB’s who would be a lot better if the game ever slowed down for them but it doesn’t. Just like not everyone is going to get faster, stronger, quicker, better instincts. That’s why some people get better and most people don’t and watch games at home.
