This game is Syracuse football the last couple of decades. Classic letdown. Every time we get something going for the program we lay an egg.

Not trying to be that guy but has been a backup here for 3+ years for a reason. Dude is not fast enough to play at this level, hes getting annihilated along with our vaunted secondary. Wards great year last year looking more like an aberration and were back to years 1 and 2 where we cant stop Solvay

I think this is as inaccurate as the opposite saying he’s terrible and not the answer. Nobody knows. Fixing “the game is too fast for him” is not a guarantee. There are a lot of QB’s who would be a lot better if the game ever slowed down for them but it doesn’t. Just like not everyone is going to get faster, stronger, quicker, better instincts. That’s why some people get better and most people don’t and watch games at home.

true.. but sorry the mistakes he has made from the game being too fast so far this year are easily fixable with experience... what part of Devito's game has struggle today? 1 pick that will not be there with more experience most likely... he has dropped dimes today... the game has not been too fast for his accuracy to be off.. that is the key indicator.. right now inexperience and he is learning how fast the game is once he gets out of the pocket...
