Well then he can go somewhere that a game like this would create an absolute firestorm that consumes the program, University and city. At least there’s only a handful of us that give a **** after all these terrible years.

I’m thinking back to the posts from the typical board optimists this week (not knocking them, but you can’t rip people for pointing out negatives from last weeks win without taking some “I told you so” now) and it is making me smirk a bit, probably as to not throw my computer or cry instead.

How Locksley was the worst. Howard got crushed by BC a few years ago too. Game plan was vanilla. Elite D. Liberty has talent. Wideouts just need time. We roll today. Unleash the O today. NFL talent all over the D.

Some of those are true, but the irony is all over the place!

Dino had one good season with a QB that he didn’t recruit and were supposed to just be grateful for him and not criticize anything?

We’ve even bent over backwards to absolve him of his recruiting issues. At some point criticism is warranted.

This was a HUGE spot and he laid about as big of an egg as one could lay.

Dude, we used to lose early non-conference games every year. Home or away. Close or ugly. Even with McNabb.

Maybe but how is this performance on the fanbase? Zero day depth, 1 decent QB recruit the last 4 years and were about 0-10 the last three years on getting a top qb recruit or 4 star wr including 0-4 already this year. Not to mention were still running Armstrong out there despite him clearly being overmatched. Babers needs to look in the mirror on this one. We look like Howard out there on D right now.

Who said this game was on the fans? Not even close.

This game is just a game where devito needs to get better it’s the only positive right now. Our defensive game plan is atrocious. Or are they just that much more athletic at every single position?

This is one game. Fretting over the season is useless and will drive you crazy. We knew we were not running the table (though we like to dream of it). Most of us had SU between 7-10 wins, which is very doable. Yeah, it sucks we a re losing to Maryland and Locksley, but it does not mean we lose the entire season.

I'll stick it out to the bitter end. Don't think we're really this bad. Their O is pretty good but their D is so so. Especially their secondary. Our lb's are getting exposed. We'll get better. Nice td drive there to answer theirs to start the half. Just want to see the D get some stops this half.

Going to have to black out regardless here. This is just why hope should be simmered in every single sport of all time. Every game is new and every game is a battle. Every game is loseable and winnable.
