Nah. There are players that start as redshirt freshman with no live experience. He saw all the second team reps in practice last year and time in games in pressure situations. Seeing more mop up duty time would not change anything.

You dont have to have a duel threat but you have to have a qb who is some semblance of a threat to run or scramble for a 1st. Devito looks absolutely petrified of any sort of contact and makes the rpo pretty much useless when hes zero threat to actually keep it. The QB situation is a major problem that we haven't been an honest about especially with the recruits beyond Devito.
