Maryland is really good, this was always going to be a bad matchup for Syracuse. Unfortunately, we are making things much worse by playing poorly.

That said I’d still rather be playing a great team on MDW. Sometimes getting “back” takes incremental progress. This season was a step in the right direction, I hope this result leaves them hungry to build on this and keep the progress going.
