that's ESPN #7 2015 recruit Diamond Stone a 6' 10 center. Supposedly was between Wisconsin and UK. What is the sudden attraction of playing at MD? That's a real kick in the 'nads to Bo Ryan. Bryant probably just moved up a spot on the UK priority board too.

He was UConn's number one target last fall.

they were getting all moist over the thought of him

not going to check, but they must be apoplectic over his loss and the greater realization of mid majordom setting in

Ironically their board looks like Marylands circa 2001...shortly after Carmelo committed to us.

IOW they think there were shady dealings between Stone, UMd, and UA.

Reminds me of when Rutgers was clamoring over 'child abuse' because it was apparently Daryl Watkins' dad who thought he should go to SU over Rutgers. Still laugh thinking about that.

I don't think people realize how much say the shoe companies have in where these kids go

Stone to MD was a done deal a long time ago because of UA

We all know how much say they have. Hodge went NCST because of Adidas. The family got $$$, and everyone knew it.

I was unaware that UK was targeting this kid along with the other 6 big guys. Seriously was UK even recruiting this kid because UnderArmor lost out big time to WWW for the Harrison's.

So the shoe companies' connections have a lot of influence over where recruits go to college.

Then why is it hard to understand the part that WWW plays in steering kids to UK?

It's only hard for the NCAA
