Is this the worst facility for broadcasting a lacrosse game in the history of the world?

My memory of the last game at UMd is that there was one camera about a mile from the field that attempted to show all the action. It was too far to really see anything and often trained on something other than where the ball where.

One camera. Staged by a buffoon.

It was a disgraceful broadcast. Complete amateur hour. Makes me think the B1G and UMd are amateur clowns who have no idea how to cover lacrosse. CNS HS kids would do a far better job.

Am I just imagining this or are televised games from UMd as bad as I remember?

I will check with my local pub chain to see if they have access. If so, I'll likely grab a late lunch there.
Update: since this is a streaming only service, my local pub chain won't have that available (all sports channels: yes, streaming: no).. I may sign up for a free month of BT+ and then cancel. <sigh>

I tried signing up for this and it looked like it was still going to charge me for the first month so I stopped. Is there a code we have to enter? Anyone else tried?

I probably didn't go far enough. I didn't put my credit card number in yet because I didn't like seeing the full charge amount with no discount.

I'd react that way also. Question of whether to trust them. I hadn't seen the free offer before. It didn't come up when I signed up for it 2 weeks ago. But that might have been because I've had a subscription with them in prior years.

I had not seen a free offer before either. Interestingly, the system said I already had an account my main email address. I have no idea when I might have done that. So I tried my secondary email and got that screen I posted.

I got the same screen and clicked through hoping they wouldn’t charge me but knowing they’d bill me automatically the next month. Unfortunately they did charge me. I went through FAQs and submitted a ticket stating I was billed for my first month. Hoping they’ll do the right thing and credit it back. Not holding my breath.

the worst part is the B10 network does show Lax, just not home OC games. They open up the extra channels all year to show fb and bb games but cant do it for Lax. Just a money grab.

On the flip side $12 to watch a game is not a crazy cost, cheaper than buying a movie.

But when the quality is so bad.

But if you like to watch Lax , the next 30 days have a bunch of games on it

Okay. We subscribed to B1G+. Would like to watch on big screen, not laptop. Can't find the channel on Hulu+live TV or ESPN app. What now?

If you have a Samsung Smart TV, there's a B1G+ app you can download to your TV.

If you have a Firestick, I believe there's also a B1G+ app.

B1G+ has nothing to do with ESPN.

Remember, B1G+ is a "streaming" service. It's not an actual TV channel.

It's a whole separate BIG+ app that you download and sign into with your log-in credentials you set up with when you subscribed

Same here. Clicked claim offer and was still charged. Oh well, cheaper than paying for a ticket if it was in the Dome.

I payed through Paypal, and when I was done I got a message that because I went through Paypal it wouldn't auto renew. I'm still gonna go in and cancel after the game just to be sure.

FYI - I managed to get a refund pretty quickly. Went through FAQs and found a way to email them. They responded and asked for a screen shot of the page I was attempting to get the offer from. After emailing them the screen shot, I received a response saying they’d give me an additional month for free. I explained my intentions when signing up and that I would be canceling the service and would rather have a refund. Got my refund yesterday. Kudos to them for making it right.
