Here are the actual high temperatures in Syracuse for each day in May 2020 compared to the average high, (based on stats that go back to 1901) and the difference that day, + or – as well as a running deficit or surfeit. Here is the website I used for these numbers:

Comments: From April 14 to May 13 we reached the average high only 6 times in 30 days had a net loss of 238 degrees. Then Mother Nature sent us on an 11 day run of ‘winning’ days in which we gained back 124 degrees and actually wound up +10 (15-15-1) for the month, although it was never a ‘normal’ month. Now we are cooler than normal again. June, as far as can be determined by Accuweather, will be a normal-looking month:
