Glad you wanted us to lose there to "prove a point."
Loser.
So if I'm reading this right, you were hoping we lost? To Uconn? Interesting.

Loser.
Did I say that?
What fun would that be. Makes for a boring 2nd half.
Close enough. You implied that a loss would've been better at proving a point than a close win.
Huh? Learned their lesson? That doesn't mean I wanted them to lose. They still haven't learned their lesson. If they keep letting teams back in, they'll keep running the risk of getting burned. There's no reason for it. None.

Here's why UConn clawed their way back into that game -- they are a talented team and were playing for their tournament lives on their home court against their biggest rival. I would have been more surprised if they gave up and lost by 30.
Then you haven't been paying attention. They're not a good team at all and we could have easily won by 30 whether they gave up or not.
Uconn came back because we shot 50 in the first half 35 in the second with a few turnovers.
dude. just stop

Learned our lesson?
Because we were trying to give the lead back?!
My Lord this board sucks sometimes.
On Monday night there was a huge thread about how UCONN sucked.
Did something change before the game tonight?
Well, it is frustrating to see a nice lead shrink, but you do realize this is a competitive sport, don't you? Some of these Big East teams have a few decent players and that makes it hard to impose your will on them for 40 minutes. Sorry we aren't winning these games more easily because if this continues the walk-ons are never going to develop.Uh, we've had double-digit leads in several recent games and instead of putting opponents away, we've let them back in. If you think that's a good habit to get into, that's your right.

This has always been a characteristic of JB's teams. It is IMHO his biggest weakness. To his credit, he is all about being a gentleman and a good sport. It just does not seem to be in his nature to have that killer instinct, though. We tend to get very passive on both offense and defense when we get a big lead, and that allows other teams to seize the initiative. Even refs subconsciously reward hustle, aggression, and initiative. The crowd goes against us in those situations as well.
Although tonight, in our defense, UConn's comeback was fueled primarily by desperation / frustration / What 3's that just kept falling, and some rather fortunate and accidental plays inside. Very few of their points were the result of them really breaking down our defense.
