We dont have good outside shooting.
We lack a post presence on offense.
We dont have a go to guy.

We have lost two games this year.

perhaps this is all due to coaching and Jimmy B is having his best year rather than one of his worst as some are thinking. I really dont think the parts of this team fit that well.

Hard to tell. The parts seemed to fit okay earlier in the season.

Maybe we have no post presence because noone has been taught any semblance of a post game. You don't have to be a 7 footer to have some post skills. Maybe we'd have outside shooting if we occasionally established more inside offense by way of the post or penetration first and then worked off of that.

This Mr. Staypuft is a sailor, he's in New York. We get this guy laid, we have no problems!

Maybe there are really only about 6-7 very good teams in college hoops...and we didn't play any of them all year. Our record was a bit of a mirage...

We played our best ball when the zone created turnovers and transition offense. That happened less as the season wore on. We have not been a very good half-court offense, and when the break isn't available, we struggle.

Our record wasn't a mirage at all.

C'mon. Oh Lord

What's most frustrating for me about that is that we don't seem to try and fix it. As the season progresses a team should get more effecient in the half court. We have horrible movement without the ball. All we do is pick and roll from the top of the key and everyone else spots up outside. When's the last time we ran a back screen? I'm watching the Indiana game right now and they've gotten two lay-ups already from guys back cutting. One was from their point guard who looks to be the shortest guy on the floor. I know teams are zoning us, so why can't we get some high/low stuff going like teams do to us?

Problem today was that for reasons absolutely unknown JB did not instruct our guards to drive the ball. Our constant bricking of threes only proved we couldn't hit them which allowed UNCA to pack it in, making penetration more and more difficult as the game went on. That has to be on JB - he dictates the strategy. I'm not sure why his plan was to pass around the perimeter for 15 seconds and then miss a 3-pt shot. Took him 28 minutes to tell somebody to drive into the paint.

Meh, so if we had played lets say 4 of those teams - 2 home, 2 away - how many more losses would we have - 2? 29-4 is still pretty good.

Perfect post spot on we should have been taking the ball to the hole every single time we would have crushed this team instead JB let us play horse against these midgets. He really coached a piss poor game today
