to defect some attention from the men's squad. 11-1 and just drew their second biggest crowd ever, over 10,000 fans in a beat down over Mercyhurst.

Hopefully, they start getting some national recognition. Looks likes FLJ added some nice pieces this year that seem to be clicking, including Dominique Darius, who's name should sound familiar.

Coach Jack and staff have really put together a great looking team. I dig the intensity, individual talent and team chemistry.
If I'm not mistaken, this team could go a long way and I'm totally looking forward to watching them do it.

GO SU!
I love the defensive intensity! We have some big time guards in Darious an Phalia , who both can play some tough shut down defense on the perimeter, but what I think is most impressive about their games, is their ability to create their own shots! When the offensive sets break down, they both have the ability to go by a defender and get in the paint for that mid range game. That's "next Level"...not all guards can do that. Next time you watch this team, watch how these two especially, can create their own offense...Also, the fact that we push the ball up the court and get shots before the defense can get completely set, is a huge weapon. Once they improve their 3 ball game, this team will be tough to beat and in most games against teams that they play...

Pleasant surprise, it didn’t seem like the portal gets were that impressive on paper

Best get for Felicia is Uche. Played 3 years professionally in Japan. From Nigeria. Wanted the US college experience. She is really good and we will need a huge bag to keep her after this year. This team has only lost to #4 at the time, Michigan.

Seeing what the women are doing is a perfect example of the combination of coaching and culture. FLJ has a great ability to connect with the players but also demand they give their all and gets the most out of them. She also has a clear philosophy on both ends of the court. It’s glaring how much of a difference vs what Red and staff are doing.

Will the women's team outdraw the men's team in attendance?

Duke at home next Sunday 4pm. Game is on the ACCN.

Hope folks appreciate how good she is. She barely made it to campus too. She’s one we have to keep.

I have gone to 3 games this year so far. I have a friend who sits courtside and she invites me periodically. The games are poorly attended and they could use a boost. The 10,000 screaming children was a one-off. If Duke is at home, we should try to get a good crowd. It is fun to watch them play and they have talent.

And the center that came from Japan might be the best newcomer in the ACC.
Sorry, I spend too much of my time focusing on the WNBA.
The center on the women's team will be there someday, and if they can keep her here until she is eligible, she will get the proper coaching to be great there.
