Spring semester classes start next week. Will he be enrolled in a couple of online graduate courses just in case he does get an additional year?

I think Kyle will start training with a private QB coach this week. Some of the guys are in Florida training and preparing for their pro day workouts.


Kyle is a stand up guy. I wish him the best.

How many teams look for QBs is the big question. You could move from outside the top 10 to like 8th best and that still doesn't mean you get a much better draft slot.

I now have definitive proof Kyle will be back. A potential draft where the Jets pick him up will surely scare him back to College for one more year.

Realistically, he'll make his biggest jumps at the workouts, combines, and interviews. So if he's getting a 5-6 round grade, and believes in himself he could improve 2 rounds or so with that part of the process.

I would guess he already appears on some NFL draft boards (much different from mock drafts). However, the feedback from the College Advisory Committee advises players with projected draft grades at or below the 3rd round to stay in school. What might matter most in this process is how well Kyle thinks he will do at the combine, interviews, pro day, and private workouts coming out this season.

In terms of weapons, probably a big time portal WR is needed. When it comes to RB I don’t think there’s much out there that will be a clear upgrade. Wouldn’t be surprised if Nix and Yas split reps 50-50.

Now its Kyle saying get me some weapons. Everyone talking about guys that can run and catch but we are going to be facing some scary defenses next year and we need some big dudes up front too.

it's not a money issue for a change. There will be additional money raised if he wants to come back - lot already lined up. It's just about what he wants to do.

I would think if Kyle comes back, it would be a positive for getting a couple of high end portal players. He will get a lot of attention, which would expose his receivers and offensive lineman.
