McCord

If you're asking in regards to McCord, he is technically a senior and does not have to declare.
But if he is granted a waiver he will have eligibility left so he may fall in a gray area and may need to make his intentions known.

Who is eligible to be invited to the NFL Combine?

  • All college seniors are eligible for the NFL Combine immediately following their final year of collegiate eligibility.
  • Any underclassmen who declare for the NFL draft and satisfy all NCAA and NFL requirements are eligible to participate.

I've heard his NIL deal will be worth between $2-$3m for over a month now and not from this page. That is aligned with other quarterbacks if not less
Is this really the ballpark we can play in???
I realize McCord is a special player but I’m shocked to hear 3M mentioned. I hope it’s true.

I wouldn’t doubt it . There is no way if he comes back he’s doing it at a discount. The days of kids getting $50k to come back are gone. Plus, there is so much potential for him for even more NIL opportunities when we get closer to the season. I have no doubt that would be an issue.

With the Duke kid getting $8m, I think $3m might become the floor soon.

You would think coming back he would have some national NIL possibilities. He would be one of the biggest quarterbacks in the country and get quite a bit of preseason hype. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was on the NCAA 26 cover.

Agree. I think people forget that collective NIL isn't the only avenue. Some people can get "real" NIL like Caitlin Clark did at Iowa with her deals with Nike, Gatorade etc

that's over 2 years, I hear you though. It's like Duke is just writing blank checks.

They now have the highest paid player with Cooper in hoops and now are paying outrageous prices for a QB for football. Then UNC down the street is hiring Belichecks.

First I will preface I am sure McCord is waiting on draft feedback still. That said I wonder if part of the "no public announcement yet" includes some hammering out of Nil contract language(which presumably gets reviewed by respective counsel) given discussed values . I wonder if Syracuse, if McCord returns is looking to frame some Heismen marketing in the messaging out as well for 2025. I mean he was the top QB for yards right? It would seem logical to want to "market " any announcement of a return around playoffs and Heismen goals. To me that helps recruiting, national visibility, etc.

He's trying to get multiple Heisman trophies?

Anyone know where I can get terrell's kyle chips in albany area?

I want my own bag.

I know Price Chopper carries Terrell's; not sure if any of the New England chains do. Seems like that'd be your best bet but who knows if they actually have them. Even here it's a crapshoot, they don't appear to last long.
