McCord

And yet he isn’t talked about as one of the top qbs in the nation.

Quite amazing really
He‘s not a plus athlete. And his production is a function of volume. He’s got a very good arm, but it’s not elite.

He’s a third day pick and needs to go to the right situation. Maybe he’s Brock Purdy.

I love watching Kyle pre-snap. He's so calm and in control, moving guys around like it's practice.
The time of possession stat is crazy with how much we throw but Kyle knows to let his guys get set and a breather.

Shrader was the opposite and didn't really have much composure and would snap it quickly even if he was gassed from running it 30 yards. Devito had the same lack of awareness. Dungey was somewhat the same but it was intentional to try and snap before the D was set of possible.

Now that said there have been a couple of games this year the opponent has timed our snaps and the DE is in the backfield before Kyle gets the ball every play.

He can beat out any teams backup for a 53 man roster spot. Has to hope it's not someone like KC that drafts him.

QBs are expected to run these days in the NFL so he's not going to get any 1st round buzz like he typically would for simply being really good and accurate.

Probably a prospect similar to Rattler got scooped quick mid rounds when all the top guys at each position were gone and a legit backups better than guessing. 4th round maybe late 3rd is my guess.

It rather risky, but he really hasn’t taken a whole lotta hits this year. He gets rid of the ball so quickly.

But is ann elite passer. He’s remarkably accurate, can throw in to very tight windows. He’s outstanding at reading the defense and getting the ball out quickly. To me that is the skill set most important to playing the position. I have t seen anyone better at the college level

Fran just said on his show that he's excited to see McCord play in the bowl game. Hmmmm.
Millhouse said earlier this year that, and this was when we were behind in a game, that McCord had some decisions to make. That he might sit out the rest of the season if things went south. I have been thinking that it is above 50-50 that he would play in the bowl game. His relationship with the coach a big part of that.
