The one that really hurt was the drop by Broyld on the first series. He had NOT ONE defender in front of him. He catches that ball, and it's a quick run for six. We have momentum, and things are looking good. To not score a TD on that first drive was a sin.
Since I was at the game, what the hell happened on the pick six? From my view the WR ran the wrong route and confused Hunt. Looked like he was going to play short and then went long. By the time he turned, the UMD defender was heading the other way. Was that Hunt's fault or the WR?
It was Flemming. He ran about 5 yards or so, turned around and put his hands up, then quickly turned and ran a route towards the end zone. Hunt saw him when he turned and threw the ball, by the time he released it Flemming was moving towards the end zone and the ball was thrown right through the spot he had previously been in straight to the defender.
Not sure who's fault it was though.
