McPherson to Rob Moore , bye bye PSU

My dislike of ND has declined proportionally to the rise of the SEC and B1G as megapowers. I'm rooting for them to win it all, if only to deny the asshats of those conferences.
That's the only team to root for . Even though they are only partial in they still are ACC.
And due to how poor everyone else in the conference was we need some good news.

ND play calling is bad. Trying to force the run when Pedo is blitzing almost every play, Call play action and get the ball out to the TE in 2 seconds or less. That is all.

For those that watched, you can see why I was hoping Steve Angeli would leave ND and enter the portal. He is legit.

1.) ND - Gives us a chance to knock off the national champs next season.
2.) Texas - No SU angle. Harmless.
3.) tOSU - No gloating about being better without McCord.
4.) PSU -- No amount of money will make me like them.
Never root for anyone in the SEC, as for the Big 10, hopefully some day we end up there.
Ohio St, Penn St don't root for, when we get in don't have any dislikes with the others.

Yeah he looked great. I’m hoping he still enters the portal. We should go all in.

A guy from my dad's neighborhood in Binghamton when he was a kid growing up went to Notre Dame to play football back in the 40's. Poor, working class, mostly Catholic neighborhood - when that guy came home he was treated like a superhero, the epitome of the American dream. As a result, my dad was always a huge Notre Dame fan - to him, it represented everything good about America. It was a big deal to me when I realized he was rooting for Syracuse against ND after I'd graduated since it showed how much I meant to him, but if they weren't playing Syracuse he'd still root for the Fighting Irish.

I had a chance to take him out to South Bend for a Notre Dame game about two decades ago, and he was like a kid in a candy store. It was almost like seeing my dad transform into a hopeful, joyful seven year old in front of my eyes - it was an awesome trip. I still treasure that experience. I'm glad Notre Dame won last night, I don't think they have much of a shot against either Texas or Ohio State - but I'll be rooting for them in that game too.

Thanks for sharing your “dad story”. Glad for both of you, too many people miss out on the simple pleasures, you‘re not in that group.

On the other hand, I am pulling for ND for a more base reason, I don’t want the B1G to win.

There are no winners here. PSU is an evil, child molesting $4!t hole. ND has the worst fans in college football. It’s like trying to root for the Black Plague or Small Pox.

Don't count ND short here. They're an institution that is innately borne & aligned with the Catholic Church. You know, the one whose leaders/hierarchy for decades systemically consistently allowed and enable its priests, clergy, etc. to conduct the exact same behaviors.
