I'd lost track of his performance in the last several weeks, this may be common knowledge to some here but he's leading all rookies in scoring, assists, and even rebounds per game! Crazy. Also leads all rookies in MPG and SPG. Biggest (and probably only) threat to him winning the award is health.

Yeah. Also he is having a damn good year for any guard let alone a rookie. Health indeed is the biggest obstacle. Philly has no business having as many wins as they do now. Perfect situation imho as he is playing well, they are winning enough to keep that underdog spirit alive while still being what they are which is a lottery pick team. Interesting thing will be what they do with Turner. He plays well off of MCW as does Hawes and Young. I think they move whoever they can get the most value for. Curious if Dion ends up in Philly. It would be an interesting combo but I fear for Dion with Philly being his original stomping grounds that he could fall into the trap Iverson did just without making a name for himself before hand.
