Meanwhile, Michigan, OSU, PSU, MSU et al will run through Jersey like Grant ran through Richmond, cherry picking all of the top Jersey recruits, raping and pillaging.

Yeah, except Richmond burning was started by retreating Confederates burning warehouses and was eventually contained with the help of Union soldiers.. And there was little raping/pillaging- Grant was much, much more concerned with bagging the Army of Northern Virginia than he ever was with Richmond.
