Never want to hear about bowls this bowls that again. Im guilty of it too.

This meant a lot. Id name the reasons but there are too many.

What a great game, vs a resilient opponent, in a beautiful city.

I get why people were disappointed with where we ended up but I think it ended up being perfect. Being Fox's only bowl game was great.

They were treating it like an EVENT on NFL broadcasts. Those postgame interviews got to air live on national tv. Relatively sweat free win so announcers had lots of time to say nice things about the program. 10 wins.

Loved the game being on Fox. No goofy game running over so you couldn't watch the first 10 minutes.

I was more irritated with the ACC (as usual) than anything else over shoehorning Dook into a bowl they didn't deserve against a quality SEC team...

That said, really liked the timeslot and production quality Fox did on the Holiday bowl. It was a top notch showcase event.

Plus Wazzu's backup QB was a lot better than I was expecting and am glad their interim HC/DC was able to get most of their portalers to play in the game. They certainly made it competitive and showed up.

Except the excessive commercials. Even after kickoffs, like the NFL used to do! It was excessive and not viewer friendly. But what is in sports these days.

I gotta tell ya I love nothing more than to have McCord and Syracuse "northern" football own that ACC record. I can just hear some of the ACCs more "southern " brethren bristling and shouting "dangnabit" at the thought that some player from the cold barrens of NY, could sit atop one of the more football prestige individual records in their league. Just delicious ACC, just delicious.
