The first in-season Cascade/Maverik Media Poll has been released by Inside Lacrosse.
The poll — which comes after a majority of teams have started their season, but not all — sees Virginia drop significantly, but not a lot of change at the top. The Cavaliers lost 11-4 to Loyola on Saturday in the weekend's biggest matchup.

Before takings its opening face-off, Notre Dame has lept into the No. 1 spot in the Nike/USILA Coaches' Poll.
The Irish, who were No. 1 in the Media Poll and Face-Off Yearbook preseason rankings, took the No. 1 ranking after Denver escaped Air Force with a narrow win over the weekend.
