Says the only nugget fan. I get no less than 3-5 emails a day talking smack about Melo from all my nuggets friends here. And I say the same thing every time. The Nuggs haven't proven a thing in his absence. There was a lotta hype that they don't need a star blah blah, now they're all back peddling. And the Nuggs are looking more and more like they did before Melo resurrected them from the dead.Come back to Denver Melo. We need you! badly...
I think I read somewhere that if you put $100 on the Knicks and Nets winning last night, it would give you back $1,800.
The Knicks win is more impressive though, homerism aside, the Spurs are completely healthy and played very well. The Knicks had to earn that one.
OKC is a glorified NY Knicks team without Westbrook. Durant plays the Melo role and he has better role players but its the same type of limited team that wont make it past the second round unless Westbrook is healthy.
Last night showed how desperately NY needs that second scorer. Everyone played their normal games, Udrih got major minutes and sucked most of it. Amare got major minutes and was his usual -100000 self, JR is JR but has been more solid lately, Melo did his thing and the only difference was Shump stepping up.
How in god's name the Knicks were not able to find a better PG in the offseason than Udrih is just incomprehensible. Honestly, after Udrih turned the ball over 3 times in the last 5 minutes last night, I would have rather had no PG in the game at all than him. He is terrible.

Im starting to get a Jeremy Lin vibe from Toure Murry. Every Knick fan was screaming for us to play Lin and when they finally did, the rest if history. I'm not saying Murry is the caliber of Lin BUT he gives us what we need is athleticism and defense, something Udrih, Felton and Pablo are incapable of doing. Murry/Shump backcourt is a beast defensively.Well he's supposed to be their third string PG, and he's generally been a decent enough, if not TO prone, back up

Is this true? I remember him playing at Sacto on NYE beforeh e blew up and he was terrible. It was just a few minutes, but was not impressed at all. Now the Knicks not matching his contract is looking pretty stupid. Thanks Dolan.Every Knick fan was screaming for us to play Lin and when they finally did, the rest if history.
Lin was a fan favorite from the jump. He looked great in summer league if I remember correctly and the fans were calling for him to get playing time, at least fans on the Knicks messageboards were. He might of looked shaky in the beginning but he obviously blew up once he started getting serious time.Yeah I'm not saying the guys ahead of him are all stars or anything, I'm just saying when you are down to your third PG playing heavy minutes, you can't expect much.
Murry is proably earning himself some more time. He wasn't a PG in college, but they don't have a lot of options and he's been ok.
