NBC hires Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony as top studio analyst for 2025-26 NBA season (sportingnews.com)

It was recently announced that former 10-time All-Star and NBA 75th Anniversary Team member Carmelo Anthony was tapped by NBC to become a studio analyst for the network's coverage of NBA games for the 2025-26 season, per reports.

"NBC has hired Carmelo Anthony to serve as one of the network's top studio analysts when it begins broadcasting NBA games next season, sources briefed on the network's plans said Thursday," wrote The Athletic's Andrew Marchand on Thursday morning.

I guess La La will be attending all the games and Melo when he can. I really wanted Melo to be around the team and be able to help our forwards, particularly White and Freeman. The NBC games most likely will be on weekends and after the NFL season as I believe that has always been the format for the networks. If so, Melo potentially could be around the program a lot till February.

He's confident and a hard worker staying true to himself.
Looks like he's going to enjoy everything he does in his post playing days.

I can't help but think that Melo is trying to do everything in his post-playing career that Kobe never got the chance to do.

He’s reportedly worth 160-170 million dollars.
Say we plan on Kiyan staying two years. He can give our NIL 2 mil each year. Easy.

Maybe we fix our broken relationship with NY’s richest junk man.

We should have the resources to compete in the portal next offseason if everyone plays it smart and some people swallow a little pride.

Melo is as popular as ever. Hopefully Cuse figures out how to take advantage of his popularity. Meanwhile, Mitchell and Ness has released an authentic replica Melo Knicks jersey.

He has the charisma and eloquence that allows him to further capitalize on a professional athletic career. Shaq, Barkley, and a few others have that type personality. Too many just disappear once their playing days are over. Maybe they prefer it that way.
