Williams made a difference when he was in there. So did Zaire Franklin, who also got time at the SAM and maybe a play or 2 at the Will (not positive).

Franklin looked good. I thought Luke Arciniega played well too.

Sure. But a second stout DT in Williams serves a lot of different purposes.

Williams didn't have a stat stuffing game, but I watched him individually a few times and he just drove his O-lineman back a good 5 yards each time. Good to see and I'm sure we'll see a lot more of him before the season is over.
