Crew Competes at Navy Day Regatta
"A" boat finishes in third place
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Syracuse men's rowing team continued its fall season on Saturday at the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa. The squad recorded a third-place finish in the open eight event.
Syracuse sent three boats down for its second race of the 2014 fall season. The "A" boat finished in third place in a time of 12:25.92. Penn's "A" boat won the race in a time of 12:11.81, while Navy finished in second place with a near identical time.
The Orange "B" boat placed sixth, covering the course in 12:45.17. The "C" boat registered a 13th-place finish out of 26 total boats, finishing in 13:18.34.
The "A" boat was coxed by senior
