We played the last 4 holes of the front nine of Drumlins East. My nickname for him is Llama. Pretty accurate golfer. Hit the pin in the air on #8, which was playing about 190 from the tips. (Nice 2 putt par).
No real recruiting tips, (I didn’t want to be that guy) but I do have this: 1) he chose SU because of the coaches, and they are the same guys here in campus as the were in recruiting, 2) they told him upfront they were bringing in 2 portal QBs, and 3) it’s a great QB room. They all get along well.

Was Angeli always the second target? Pena leaving freed up some dollars so was he only a realistic chance at that point?

Either way - it’s very simple to see why people want to play for this staff. Very real

Heard Luke is a pretty solid golfer, rumor is he averages low 80s and can drive pretty far (300 yards plus), I have seen him on the range a few times and he can boom it, good looking kid too...

I only had 4 holes with him (he caught up with me due to a slow playing, elder foursome that never let me play through) , but he hit all fours greens in regulation when I was with him.
