CJ's three point shot.

I know he needs time to really set & doesn't have Trevor's quick finger from that distance.

However, if I remember correctly he made something like 45% from distance last season.

I would like to see him be able to nail 1 or 2 a game. That would force the D to really play up on him & then open up the driving lanes for his mid-range game, where right now he is trying to do just a little bit too much.

If Ennis can prove a he is a legit 15 PPG scorer, I think that will take a lot of the pressure off of CJ.

On the other hand, I also like it when CJ doesn't need to shoot from 3. If stays within 15 feet for the rest of the year, that'd be okay in my book...

I'd like to see him post up more when guys take away his left or when he cant get to the basket. All day long

He needs to take a few each night within the flow of the game simply because right now this team lacks legitimate deep threats beyond Cooney. But CJ will never hit a high percentage like last season if he becomes a volume 3-point shooter. If he focuses on the mid-range and getting to the line, some good looks from deep will eventually materialize.

Last year he would be outside the line waiting on the ball and he was wide open. JB said they didn't run an offensive play for him all year which is probably why he scored so much. Last year Fair would get the ball and shoot it within 2 seconds, this year he's trying to create and it's causing a ton of turnovers, shots with men on him, and poor shot selection. Run the offense through Ennis, Cooney, and Grant and CJ will be open and do the things that CJ does that we live so much.
