lots of butler, frederick and dowels , not sure who the next up is after that

Honestly, overall , big picture this season, we have been VERY fortunate on the injury front this year :) VERY!

Not if you include pre-season injuries as well, because then I would consider us quite unlucky. All pre-season we lost starting OG, starting DT, 3 other Defensive lineman, and a DB all on the 2 deep.

Also, I wouldn’t call this VERY fortunate, I think it has been more of a run of the mill sort of average year DURING the season.

So far DURING the season, we have lost our starting saftey, our starting WR2, both starting DEs, and both starting CBs. The fact that we have had adequate replacements is largely a testament to the offeseason acquisitions of DFB

I think during the season we have been very fortunate. Knock on wood.

I think a big key to Miami's 31 points on Duke a few weeks back was pass plays of over 25 yards. Three of the four TDs had at least one 25+ yard completion in the drive, the 4th was a Walton 40 yard romp. They've done the same to a lesser extent against FSU and GT. They appear to live off of big pass plays. I'm concerned about us stopping the long pass with these injuries and the Canes talent to begin with.

Can you imagine the "out" list if Hicks was still the main S&C Coach
I think the S&C coach is a big deal. Example, I heard recently on Phil Steele that up until recently this season, Ohio State's offensive line went 5 seasons without a single Oline starter going down to injury.

I see it differently. Yes, i agree, Roberts was a big loss on the interior line and was a big part of our run game. That said, we have been VERY fortunate after Roberts. yes, would loved to have had the DEs , but we showed some depth there and have a future star the chance. In the secondary, sad to say but the right guys are playing. Love cordy but he is a liability in the passing game. We NEED Martin, Frederick on the field.

I want to see Pickard on the field.

He's not playing this season not sure why everyone keeps hoping
Because Syracuse.com runs stories like the one before Clemson showing him in a boot and saying he hoped to play.
