Is Miami playing man-to-man all night?

Can someone explain why we announce who our starting QB is going to be? Wouldn't it make more sense to say "multiple guys" are going to play and leave it at that. At least let the opponent spend 5 minutes wondering which of our inept options they will see first. At this point, Miami's D.C. gets 1 1/2 days to focus on Rickie and his tendencies. Extending the fiction that Filardi or Carney might start would at least waste some of our opponents' time and effort.

Not saying it would make much difference. With our O, any D will work. With our QBs, it does not matter. But why give anything helpful to the other side?

It may not matter, but I was listening to Miami booster Mike Ryan Ruiz on Dan Le Batard's show this morning. He always has good insight regarding the Canes and said(paraphrasing), "We are going to have a lot of big names out, way more than most people realize." He sounded horrendously depressed, I am not sure how motivated the Canes will be tomorrow.
