I honestly don't have a problem with his first response. He was basically saying he likes the idea of having the chance to live in a different place than where he grew up. Lots of people take jobs for the same reason. Was it the most intelligent way to promote himself? No. He also didn't say he disliked the city, organization, or coach either. It's really a non-issue.
