Is there a more beloved team/coach than MSU&Izzo in March???

SEC got two in the Final Four last year and nobody said they were a good conference. Wisconsin was a great team, and Michigan State overachieved, but the rest of the B1G sucked this postseason.

Any reason that you know of for the particular poor showing of Louisville fans in the dome? I thought they usually traveled well. Was really shocked that they barely out numbered Oklahoma fans (who I guess understandably had the least) but NCSt and Mich St definitely had the most fans here by far. Did the Card fans decide to travel closer to just boo Kentucky in Cleveland instead?

I really don't know the reason. You're right, they normally have a good showing and travel well. Maybe they were surprised by Louisville's unexpected run? Just kidding. Was the red in the crowd for the NC State-UofL game more NC State red, and not Louisville red? Sounds like it was from your post. Hard to tell on TV. Had they won against MSU, it would have been a lot of blue and red in Indy. Not having Cuse in tourney depresses me, having UofL blow that game depresses me again. Oh well.

Sparty fans owned the Dome today. They turned Syracuse into East Lansing...and it was a huge advantage in that second half.

The irony of this game was the fact that MSU's three point shooting won it for them, and Louisville's lack of shooting lost it for them. Think about that. The total opposite of what you would think historically from these two teams.

MSU has very little chance against Duke. They can't pack it in like they did against Ville. If Duke gets hot, it won't be close.

Yes, NC St fans greatly outnumbered Card Fans. Today it was a Mich St crowd.

In fact there were even some empty patches directly behind the Louisville bench Friday night. Most of that red was behind the NCSt bench. Really surprising.
