What a great weekend of games. Can't recall another weekend that was so fun. So many upsets - App St going into the 12th Man stadium to beat TXA&M, Georgia Southern, led by the Ginger General QB, beats Nebraska in Nebraska with a thrilling end, Notre Dame losing again, Texas almost taking down Alabama (which was an all around fantastic game), and, of course, our a$$-beating of UConn. Fun, fun weekend.

Don’t forget UK taking down mighty Florida in the swamp and as an added bonus TT over Houston, BYU over Baylor and some other games that were close and exciting.

You can already see the impact of kids moving around easier, and the importance of coaching from the Coordinator level and down. Marshall and Texas are good examples from yesterday, Saban's staff is not what it was.

Sun Belt Conference clearly won the weekend.

That's probably going to be the most interesting G5 this year.

Always been one or two SBC teams that look good/pull upsets. Now, they may be the strongest G5 conference out there, and it might not be close.

Agree, and JMU seems to be having a seamless transition into FBS. Beat the fighting Shafers of Middle Tennessee 44-7 week 1, and destroyed an FCS 63-7 in week 2.

Where O where is TerryD to impart his superior rationalizations.

UCONN football has stunk for a long time and they still had more fans yesterday than BC usually does for an SU game. UMASS and UCONN are easy road trips for SU fans from anywhere in NY/NE and are easy and low cost travel games for SU teams. They are highly rated academically. flagship universities of major states. They also should be relatively secure wins for SU football which count towards bowl eligibility. Sorry about the Fighting Irish going 0-2 and losing at home to Marshall, they have entered the churn and will be so-so for the foreseeable future. NOT.

The Fun Belt is for real. They have some really solid programs.

Pretty crazy thar A&M has top 10 recruiting classes every year & they lose to App State. Shows it’s not always about individual talent.

Suffice to stay I do think that some of that top high school Texas talent may not be what’s it’s cracked up to be.

Backtracking huh?

It's going to take Mora and Brown some time to get their programs together. I don't know if you noticed nut ESPN has signed UMASS and they are on the ESPN streaming platform and were given access to ESPN bowls. if they become eligible. Brown had a very bad schedule draw getting Tulane and Toledo on the road in his first 2 games. IMO, both of those teams are about as dangerous as AP state and Marshall.

Now you’re trolling. Umass is the worst team and UConn is a mess. You made excuses for the Utah st game and they went and got blasted yesterday. CCSU lost to Sacred Heart Church. You slobbered over both. Today, not what might be 50 years from now. As dangerous as Ap St and Marshall. Lol. Yea, you’re trolling.
