I hear what you are saying and there is some truth there, but there is also some truth in that we are seeing the Parents driving the bus so to speak as it relates to the moves that their kids are making, and the NIL offers to a player who comes from a well off family with an NBA dad, may be more about "respect" than need, and that may be achieved in other ways as well.NIL is the player’s money and becomes wrapped up in the player’s self-identity and sense of worth and accomplishment. Don’t think a kid is going to take less because dad is already well off.
