Former Syracuse football player, wrestler part of WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024

The WWE is honoring the "U.S. Express" tag team, which featured a Syracuse University alum.

I always thought it was cool when I was a kid to hear Rotunda introduced “from SYRACUSE, NEW YORK” (though he was known as Mike Rotundo at the time)

He was part of Wrestlemania 1, where he and Barry Windham would lose the tag team title to the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff



before winning it back later that year
