Mike Tirico named commencement speaker

My class of 1963 had two speakers. The SU administration had invited CP Snow, a British novelist and physicist. Then, the senior class and some Maxwell School professors invited Adlai Stevenson, two-time losing Presidential canndidate and (at the time) JFK's ambassador to the UN. It was a little weird and uncomfortable having the two of them, especially at the luncheon that followed commencement.

Mine was Malcolm Forbes. My daughter‘s was David Muir.

My son’s will be Tirico, whose speaker was…Malcolm Forbes.

After 8 consecutive years of SU expenses, I am now flat broke.

Since Enrique has moved on, I could really use some Fine Mess NIL…

Class of ‘94 we had Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. cannot remember much about the speech, just I was running late and I got in real late the night before
