Watching a future opponent tonight. U of M is struggling on the road against a pretty lousy UNLV team.

These two B1G games are HUGE for us.

They look awful. For some reason I thought Tim Beckman ended up here. Forgot it was still Jerry Kill. This one has to be a W.

Minnesota is terrible. Marques Gray is a homeless man's BJ Daniels, and BJ Daniels isn't very good.

Stop me if you've heard this one before. Minnesota wins after getting an interception in the first part of overtime and then kicking a field goal in the second part. :bat: :bat:

This was a game between 2 bad teams. SU won as many games as these 2 teams combined last year. Minny's coach seems to be the next Greg Robinson. I dont know much about him but he's not been very effective for that program so far. We Must not lose to Minny, no matter where the game is played.

I'll disagree on one count--Minnesota's coach is a guy with a proven track record of success at the D1 level. He inherited an awful team and has worked hard to change that culture of losing. I think he'll be successful there eventually--he is no Greg Robinson.

That said, this is a game we absolutely have to win--couldn't agree more. My expectation is that they will be 3-0 when we head out to the Twin Cities to play them.

New Hampshire and Western Michigan, at home. Hardly going out on a limb there, Ryan. ;)

Western Michigan beat Storrs State last year in East Hartford and has a senior quarterback. If you're looking for an upset Saturday, pick them over Illinois.

Oh, I'm not saying it like it was going out on a limb--just pointing out that they have three winnable games to start the season, so I'd be surprised if they weren't 3-0 when we play them.

Just giving you a hard time. Totally understood. Mrs. CC says to say hello to your lovely bride.

This.^^^^^^^^ The Broncos may be favored in that game.

Come on Dr. Gross, throw the degenerate gamblers of your fanbase a bone with a home and home against UNLV!
